I think that people who violate the americans disabilitys act three times need to be locked up, and if the website or computer isn't accessible and the people fail to adhear to the law, the website should be shut down.
The reason I say this is because people who are blind have just as much of a right to be on the web as a sighted person.
Also, that goes for people with other disabilitys.

oh boy, here we go yet again. Hey! somebody point me to the big message in the sky that talks about the world revolving around blind people.

Seriously though: sure, when a web site isn't accessible, it's a pain in the ass, but letting it go any further is, as seen in another of your boards, a sign for therapy.

Now, say, writing the site's administration and making them aware of the issues, is another mattter entirely.

And, I have this funny feeling prisons are already crowded enough, without adding ADA violators. lol

Define accessibility? Do we have to pander to idiots such as your self who are the lowest common denominator of blind computer user, or to intellegent compitent people such as my self who find 95% or more of all web sites accessible?

I have tried to write the site admins, but you get some that don't listen.
The reason I say that if people violate the a d a should be in trouble, is because blind people have just as much of a right to use the information on the web as a sighted person.
The web should be accessible for everybody!

Jared's got a point here. With different levels of aptitude come different perceptions of accessibility. Personally, I've been using the net for close to five years, and the sites I just can't navigate are few and far between. The ones that aren't basic and simply laid out are more frequent, but that doesn't make them inaccessible if you know what you're doing. So, define accessibility, then we'll either justify or dismiss your rant.

Ok, first thing, I think that all websites need to be in a simple lay out, so everybody can access them.
I also think that accessiblity should be more important than the money, I understand you need the money to pay bills and eat and so forth, but you don't have to be greety about it.
Also, if I made the laws, I wouldn't say that federal websites are the only ones that have to be accessible, I would say all including private websites have to be accessible.
